Apple phone users get a Bubbly platform to voice chat

Bubble Motion launches voice chat application for iPhone users Bubble Motion, a voice blogging based social communicating service for mobile phones, has today announced the launch of its new Bubbly social voice application for iPhone. The first smartphone-compatible version of the service is been launched for iPhone, and will be made available on Android after some time. The app can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store beginning today. The social messaging service allows users to share SMS and short voice updates with not just friends but the celebrities they would be following. It works on the Twitter-based theme where in people can follow and have followers, and comes with a voice feature. One can create posts, or Bubbles, in their own voice via their iPhone and let their followers hear what one has to say. The application supports audio but not videos, as of now. Also, Bubbly updates comes with a sharing feature that allows users to directly share updates to Twitter and Facebook, and allows them to add text to the posts. You can post updates by voice and text. Voice feed lets you know whenever any of the people you are following share something new. The user can also “like” other people’s posts and can pass comments on posts. The iPhone app has several celebrities from Bollywood and sports alongside other well known faces who can be followed by users, who can read as well as hear celebrity posts and updates recorded in their own voices. The Bubbly app is free for first 30 days of accessing celebrities’ content, but will require a payment of $2.99 (about Rs 150) after that period to unlock premium celebrity content. The Bubbly app will roll out to Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan over the coming weeks and months. Bubble Motion also plans to make the app available globally within the year. Considering the limited number of iPhone users in India, we wish the Android version of the app had been launched as well.
