HTC, Verizon launch DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE

Verizon Wireless and HTC have jointly launched the new and exclusive DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC which enhances the customer experience by offering high quality photo and audio capabilities, combined with the power of 4G LTE speeds.

 

Running the latest version of HTC Sense 4.0, HTC’s branded user experience integrated with Google’s mobile operating system, Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, the new DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE brings a sophisticated, pocket friendly device to America’s fastest 4G LTE network.

DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC features Beats Audio which is enabled across the entire experience for a rich and authentic sound whether customers watch a YouTube video, play a game, or stream music over 4G LTE. Beats Audio allows customers to listen to music the way the artist intended with thundering bass, soaring midrange and crisp highs.

DragonWave and Nokia Siemens Networks amend divestment agreement

Nokia Siemens Networks has reached an amended agreement for DragonWave’s acquisition of Nokia Siemens Networks’ microwave transport business including its associated operational support system (OSS) and related support functions. As part of the amended agreement the planned closing date is June 1, 2012, subject to closing conditions.

Under the terms of the amended agreement, the Nokia Siemens Networks microwave transport assets in Italy, including its employees, will not transfer to DragonWave.

The new arrangements reached by the parties envisage the supply of certain services by Nokia Siemens Networks to DragonWave, through a service agreement, under which R&D, product management and sales support services will be provided to DragonWave in order to enhance the ability of the latter to continue to deliver on critical customer deliveries.

The acquisition of the business in China is expected to be formally completed in the second half of 2012, once all of the licenses and permissions to do so are in place. Employees of Nokia Siemens Networks based in Shanghai would transfer to DragonWave at that time.

Under the terms of the amended agreement, DragonWave becomes the preferred strategic supplier of packet microwave and related products to Nokia Siemens Networks and the two companies are to jointly coordinate technology development activities.

Samsung Galaxy S III Specifications

Samsung Mobile has announced the launch of much awaited Samsung Galaxy S III at London. Samsung Galaxy S series has been the most successful smartphone from Samsung and the latest one adds more power and punch to make it one of the closest competitor to Apple iPhone 4S.
